The company Arolla Film<\/a> was established to disseminate enthusiasm of wilderness and to promote ideas of its protection. An idea is a basis of every change, however, in order that it becomes action it needs an active person. The existing experience and success in a protection of the wildlife in Slovakia assures that such people, initiatives or organisations, fortunately, do exist. However, they often oppose the economically strong opponents and the state who are usually protecting interests of the powerful people instead of interests of nature. We, in our company Arolla Film try to help and we encourage our fans in order to support us in our efforts.<\/p>\n

We have established, together with the Aevis Foundation, a special Endowment Fund Arolla. Using the Fund\u00b4s finances, we want to financially support interest groups of citizens, NGOs, civic initiatives, self-governments or individuals who are actively engaged in <\/strong>protection of the wilderness. We believe that the collected money will help to expand wild areas.<\/strong> Please help and make your contribution! Thank you.<\/p>\n

The Endowment Fund Arolla at the Aevis Foundation follows the existing cooperation with the company Arolla Film in the area of cause related marketing<\/a>. It extends possibilities of collecting and subsequent distribution of funds for protection of the wildlife. This Fund is open and anybody can support it with any amount either one-time or regularly via setting up a standing order.<\/strong> The Aevis Foundation is the administrator and guarantor of the Fund.<\/p>\n

What do we support<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

In the past, Arolla Film supported the campaign for protection of the Ticha and K\u00f4prova valleys by its first documentary film The Keeper of the Wilderness<\/a>. At present, this area is the largest area of wildlife in Slovakia. We tried to achieve something similar also by the film The Wolf Mountains<\/a>. We are only at the beginning in enforcement of changes in this unique territory. However, we believe that the wildlife will extend also in the Wolf Mountains.<\/p>\n

We in the Arolla Film realise that there are many problems. According to us, one of the most serious one is the destruction of the old forests. If there is no fundamental change, we will lose, together with the old forests, also many amazing species of plants and animals. One of them is also the capercaillie. At present, we support by the help of a short film campaign for a preservation of its only home \u2013 the old forest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, films alone are not sufficient. There exist many ways how to preserve the wilderness and therefore, we would like to support through the Arolla Fund various activities, in particular:<\/p>\n
